Summary of Kodai-ji

Kodai-ji (高台寺) is a Rinzai sect temple in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, Japan.

Autumn leaves are best view about from the middle to the end of November.

Cherry blossoms are best view about from the end of March to the beginning of April.

In spring and autumn, special night visit will be held.

The special night visit for the spring of 2019 is held from March 8 to May 6, the open hours is from sunset to 22:00 (last entry 21:30), and the entrance fee is 600 yen. (Finished)

The special night visit for the summer of 2019 is held from August 1 to 18, the open hours is from sunset to 22:00 (last entry 21:30), and the entrance fee is 600 yen.
