Summary of Kongobu-ji
Kongobu-ji (金剛峯寺) is a Shingon sect temple in Koya, Wakayama, Japan.
It is registered as a World Heritage Site, as one of the “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range”.
Kongobu-ji is the grand head temple of the Shingon sect Buddhism and the sacred place.
Autumn leaves are best view about from the end of October to the beginning of November.
Cherry blossoms are best view about from the end of April to the beginning of May.
