Summary of Todai-ji
Todai-ji (東大寺) is a Kegon sect temple in Nara, Japan.
It is registered as a World Heritage Site, as one of the “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara”.
Daibutsu (Great Buddha) statue is overwhelming presence.
Except Daibutsu, there are many superb Buddha statue in Nandai-mon (Great South Gate), Daibutsu-den (Great Buddha Hall) and Hokke-do.
