Summary of Kinkaku-ji
Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺) is a Rinzai sect temple in Kita-ku, Kyoto, Japan.
Its official name is Rokuon-ji (鹿苑寺).
It is registered as a World Heritage Site, as one of the “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto”.
